Prepare Your Skin

Everything you need to know before your visit to ensure you get the most out of your treatment.

  • If possible, arrive with minimal makeup and no heavy skincare products. This allows us to properly assess your skin before beginning. If not, don’t stress! We will remove makeup for you.

  • For 3–5 days before your appointment, avoid exfoliating acids, retinol and other strong active ingredients, particularly before exfoliating or resurfacing treatments. If you're unsure, reach out beforehand.

  • Please avoid tanning, intentional sun exposure and arriving with sunburn, irritation or compromised skin. Your skin should be in a comfortable, healthy condition before treatment.

  • Let us know about any allergies, sensitivities, medications, skincare products, recent treatments, or changes in your skin. Please also disclose pregnancy or breastfeeding, as certain treatments and ingredients may not be suitable.

    • Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment.

    • Avoid facial waxing or other aggressive hair-removal treatments immediately before your facial.

    • If you have an active cold sore, skin infection, significant irritation or sunburn, please contact us before attending.

    • If you have recently undergone Botox, filler, laser or another aesthetic procedure, let us know before your appointment.

    • Your facial will be customized based on your skin's condition on the day of your visit. If necessary, treatment recommendations may be adjusted to prioritize your skin's health and safety.

Protect Your Results

Your skin may be more receptive to skincare ingredients and environmental factors following a professional facial. Following these recommendations will help support your skin's recovery, maintain your results and keep your complexion looking its best.

  • For the first 24–48 hours, stick to a gentle cleanser, hydrating moisturizer and avoid introducing new skincare products. Allow your skin to settle before returning to your regular routine.

  • Temporarily avoid retinol, exfoliating acids (AHA/BHA), scrubs and other potentially irritating active ingredients for 3–5 days, or as advised based on your treatment.

  • Apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30–50 daily and limit direct sun exposure. Your skin may be more sensitive to UV exposure following exfoliating treatments.

  • Use a gentle, hydrating moisturizer and drink plenty of water. Supporting your skin's moisture barrier is essential for maintaining a healthy-looking complexion.

  • For at least 24 hours, avoid saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs, intense workouts and excessive heat, particularly if your skin is feeling warm or sensitive.

  • Keep your hands away from your face and avoid picking, scratching or manually exfoliating your skin. Always use clean towels and pillowcases.

  • Consistency is key to achieving and maintaining healthy-looking skin. Following a personalized homecare routine and scheduling regular professional treatments will help support your long-term skin goals.
